We are an organisation that provides support to help people to gain new skills, improve confidence and become more independent, whether it be within their own home or within the community. We do this in many ways, 1-1 support, group work, respite, literacy and numeracy skills, drama, cookery, shopping to name but a few. We also have many opportunities for individuals to acquire qualifications and work experience.

About Us

Value Independence CIC – set up in February 2008 by Company Directors Jo and Sam Warden to provide specialist tailored support for all individuals in the community.

As an organisation, we are passionate about offering a person centered approach to all of our clients, believing that this method of support is core to all good working practices. All of our professional approaches are focussed around learning, confidence building and independent living skills – incorporating those skills, which are needed to achieve and fulfill our clients needs and personal aspirations. Our belief is that EVERYBODY can achieve regardless of personal circumstances. We do our utmost to help everybody to reach his or her aspirations and goals.

Community Interest Company

As a Community Interest Company, our business has a primary social objective. We aim to tackle a wide range of social and environmental issues and we operate in all parts of our economy – using business solutions to achieve public good.

We believe that being a Social Enterprise Company; we have a distinct and valuable role to play in helping to create a strong, sustainable and socially inclusive economy. We have many fantastic links with other organisations, which all operate for the good of our local community.

We are fully committed to investing our resources into to making all services accessible to our clients, working together in partnership to achieve our overall learning objectives. We aim to improve our clients’ quality of life and our experienced staff are appropriately trained to enable them to provide valuable support to them and their families. This is reflected in our long standing client base.
